Enerso, the renewable energy subsidiary of Nobel Energy, continues to support Azerbaijan’s green energy agenda through active participation in regional initiatives focused on the development of Green Energy Zones.

Enerso participated in events held under the theme “Green Energy Zones: Conceptual Approaches, Initial Results and Challenges,” bringing together government, industry, and academic representatives to discuss the country’s renewable energy priorities and regional opportunities.

In Nakhchivan, discussions were hosted at the Azerbaijan Innovation Centre, based at Nakhchivan State University. The agenda focused on Azerbaijan’s strategic energy targets, Nakhchivan’s significant solar energy potential, the construction of new power plants, and ongoing energy export projects.

As part of the program, Enerso’s Renewable Energy Project Manager, Can Aslan, contributed to the panel discussion on investment opportunities in the green energy sector, sharing insights on project development and implementation.

This engagement continued in Khankendi at Karabakh University, during an event organized by the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Azerbaijan and its State Agency on Renewable Energy Sources. Discussions highlighted the renewable energy potential of the Karabakh and East Zangezur regions, ongoing reconstruction efforts, and the establishment of modern, sustainable energy infrastructure across the liberated territories. Enerso representatives also contributed to exchanges on the national green energy agenda, energy efficiency initiatives, and innovative approaches being implemented in these regions.

These engagements reflect Enerso’s continued commitment to supporting Azerbaijan’s green energy goals through collaboration, practical expertise, and active participation in the country’s energy transition.
